Monday 14th June
Depart from Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds in a 49 seater executive touring coach, with reclining seats, air conditioning and toilet/washroom. Individual curtain blinds. There will be a 2 hour lunch break at Stow in the Wold in the Cotswolds en route to the hotel.
Hotel – Ramada Plaza Bristol Hotel, 4 star, located opposite St Mary’s Church. Bed, breakfast and evening meal. It has a lift to 5 floors. Has a health club with indoor swimming pool. All rooms have en suite facilities, TV, telephone, hairdryer, trouser press, tea and coffee
Tuesday 15th June
A full day at Longleat House and Safari Park – entrance fee included based on 2009 rate – (this may increase in 2010)
Wednesday 16th June
A blue badge guided tour of the Dockland Area of Bristol.
Optional tour of ss Great Britain at £8.50 (this may increase in 2010)
Optional tour of a cruise under the Clifton Suspension Bridge with lunch price £10-£15
Spend time at Arnolfini on the harbourside which is one of Europe’s leading centres for contemporary arts featuring a regularly changing programme including exhibitions, performance, dance, cafes.
Thursday 17th June
A blue badge guided tour of the city of Bath in our own coach. The rest of the day is free to explore Bath on foot and maybe visit the Botanical Gardens.
Friday 18th June
Depart hotel to visit Wells. Optional visit to Cathedral (free of charge but optional donations are recommended). Depart Wells at 1.30 pm for journey home. A stop will be made en route.
