Hello everyone, I’m Felicity Stemp. I have joined Upbeat to help raise funds for the group.
My late husband, John Stemp, enjoyed many happy years at Upbeat with his friend Rick Lee, doing the exercise classes. We also enjoyed several social occasions together with other Upbeat members, activities have slowed down in recent times and I hope we can all work together to restore our fund-raising and social team.
l started off with a Tombola on the Bury Christmas market at which many of you helped and supported. Our third stall is coming up in November. If you can help with any fund raising ideas do please let us know.
I have worked with Community Education and the Mental Health Service before I retired. I like to be busy and volunteer for Suffolk Carers and work in my garden to relax.
I try to pop in to the Bury group every week and Long Melford is on my list to visit.
I hope to meet more of you in the coming months.
