Flora London Marathon

Simon Browne
Suffolk runner Simon Browne will be taking part in the Flora London Marathon on April 23 to raise funds Upbeat. Simon, a director of the financial services company Morgan Law, which has offices in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich, heard about Upbeat from some of his clients. 'They told me of the great work the group does in making life better for cardiac patients in the Bury and Sudbury areas and I feel I am running for a very good cause,' he said.

Simon completed the London Marathon last year, when he ran to raise funds for the West Suffolk Cot Death Group.

This year his training has included weekend runs in various parts of the country and on March 29 he visited the Bury exercise session at Newbury Community Centre for a photo-call with members for the Bury Free Press.

Upbeat are pleased to advise that Simon received sponsorship for over £5,800 - a fantastic achievement. Well done, Simon and our very grateful thanks.
